Eligible For: Those who complete the course are eligible to enrol into Mphil & PhD courses in direct and inter departmental / multi-disciplinary streams offered by various Universities and institutes globally. They are eligible to join for PG Diploma & Diploma in allied streams such as counselling, psychology, disaster management, gender studies, women studies, population studies, social exclusion and inclusive policy, clinical psychiatry, criminology, sociology etc.
Subsidiaries: The department offers two specialized streams of study, which students may choose from the third semester based on their interests and career goals: 1. Medical and Psychiatric Social Work Focuses on psychosocial interventions in healthcare, mental health settings, and rehabilitation institutions. 2. Rural and Urban Community Development Emphasizes participatory approaches, development planning, and community-based interventions in both rural and urban contexts.
